HOW WE STARTED

Our Story

Mindhail wasn’t born from a business idea. It was born from a promise.

Growing up in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, our founder Md. Kashif Nazeer saw firsthand how difficult it could be to access professional mental healthcare. The gap became personal as he witnessed people around him struggle with grief, mental health challenges, stigma and the financial barriers that often kept them from seeking professional support.

After losing a close friend to suicide in 2021, Kashif made a simple promise: cost and accessibility should never stand between someone and the mental healthcare they need.

At just 19, he turned that promise into action and founded Mindhail in 2023.

We started with a simple idea make professional counselling more affordable without compromising on the quality of care. Our ₹350 counselling model was built around this commitment, using technology, accessible delivery and a network of qualified professionals to make mental healthcare more reachable.

What began with individual counselling has since grown into a broader mental healthcare ecosystem. Today, Mindhail works with individuals, corporations, schools, colleges, communities and organisations, bringing counselling, psychiatric consultations, therapy, workshops, mental wellness programs and outreach initiatives closer to the people who need them.

Our belief remains simple: mental healthcare should not be a luxury. It should be accessible to everyone.
